CALENDAR 2024 SEASON

Club Opens 20th April 2024

SAILING for all, every 2nd Sunday throughout the season from

12th May until 12th October 2024.

Safety cover provided.

(Committee meeting early March date TBC.)

Work Party dates will be informed separately as weather dependent.

Plan to have a session before the club opens on the 20th April.

Saturday 20th April; Club Opening; rigging club boats, mooring safety boats, deploying floating jetty, laying race marks

10:00 bring lunch. Committee meeting afterwards.

Other committee meeting dates to be scheduled in during season.

Sunday 21st April; Frozen North Challenge dinghy event. Registration from 10:00.

Safety boat refresher 10:30 for club members with qualifications.

Introduction to racing for novices

Sunday 12th May; Social Sailing / Racing / Family Fun; safety cover provided. 13:00 start.

Sunday 19th May; Club members bring a friend. Try sailing, paddle boarding, canoeing, swimming.

BBQ in afternoon.

Sunday 9th June; Social Sailing / Racing / Family Fun; safety cover provided. 13:00 start.

Sunday 14th July; Social Sailing / Racing / Family Fun; safety cover provided. 13:00 start.

SATURDAY 10TH AUGUST; OPEN ANNUAL REGATTA.

One day event

12:00 Racing start, 5 short races. New to racing? Then come along and learn the ropes.

Sunday 11th August; afternoon; Family on and in the water games.

Sunday 8th September; Social Sailing / Racing / Family Fun; safety cover provided. 13:00 start.

Saturday 14th September; Support of GO SWIM Loch Morlich event TBC

Sunday 15th September; Support of Aviemore TRIATHLON TBC

Sunday 13th October; Social Sailing / Racing / Family Fun; safety cover provided. 13:00 start.

SATURDAY 26th OCTOBER; TIDY UP, AGM and AGM DINNER.

Please check with Facebook or Whatsapp to find out more information and find out when members sailing at other times. Generally if weather good club will be busy on a Sunday afternoon throughout the season.
