Useful Information and links

Loch Morlich Sailing Club leases land from Forestry Land Scotland who own the Glenmore area. If you want to  learn more about general land and loch use then please visit their website.

Loch Morlich Sailing Club is affiliated to the Royal Yachting Association (RYA). The RYA represents sailing in the UK and supports people who love being on the water. Individuals can join a community of over a 100,000 like minded members.

The area around the loch really is quite special and there is always plenty going on in the locale. Visit the Cairngorms national park website for more to see and do.

The best way to assess what the weather is like at the Loch is to use as many sources as possible such as the BBC, and Met Office then make a judgement. The Mountain Weather Information Service is always useful even if only to assess what the view might be.

We do not hire boats. This can be done at the Water-Sports Centre at the beach end of the Loch.

The Water-Sports Centre also has a webcam which will give views of the Loch towards the sailing club.

All LMSC members can get a discount at Gaelforce chandlery in Inverness.
